scope & challenges
At BAKS, I lead product and design across four connected directions: BAKS.GG, a competitive match platform; StatTrac, a workspace for daily club operations; the BAKS Esports brand platform; and Econix, a Telegram-native CS2 product.
Each direction serves different people and has a different level of maturity. Players need fair and reliable matches, coaches need context rather than isolated statistics, operators and content teams need repeatable tools, and fans need meaningful participation between tournaments. Without a shared model, work fragments across chats, spreadsheets, game services, broadcasts and one-off assets.
My responsibility is to define the product thesis and priorities for each direction, then turn them into clear tasks for UX/UI, brand, 2D, motion, frontend, backend and game-server specialists. I assign ownership, review quality and keep decisions coherent while remaining hands-on in research, UX architecture, design systems, prototypes and key frontend surfaces.
approach & impact
I start with the unit of value and align the team around one critical path rather than a feature list. Research, product modelling and working prototypes make decisions testable early; shared briefs, acceptance criteria and design reviews carry them into delivery. Backend and game-server systems are built with the team.
For BAKS.GG, the unit became a fair match completed: rating, matchmaking, replacement, server lifecycle and post-match were connected. StatTrac turns check-ins, schedules, tasks, Telegram communication and match review into one player-day workflow. For BAKS Esports, I built a brand platform that carries identity, tone, mascot and production rules across product, broadcasts, content and merchandise. Econix extends the ecosystem into Telegram through Scrim, micro-event predictions, Pick’Em, seasons, clans and rewards without real-money betting.
The result is a connected product portfolio with shared direction, clearer ownership and repeatable delivery, while each product remains distinct for its own users.
