this privacy policy explains how gavrilov.design ("the site", "i", "me") handles information when you visit my portfolio. i, andrei gavrilov, run this site to showcase my design work, and i keep data collection to a minimum.

• information you provide — if you contact me by email (andrei@gavrilov.design), i receive what you choose to share, typically your name, email, and message.

• information collected automatically — like most websites, basic technical data may be logged when you visit: ip address, browser and device type, referring page, and pages viewed. this happens through my hosting provider and any analytics i use.

2. how i use information

i use information only to respond to your messages, understand and improve how the site is used, and keep it secure. i do not use your data for advertising or automated decision-making.

for visitors in the eea and uk, i process personal data based on your consent (e.g. analytics cookies), my legitimate interest in running and improving the site, and, when you contact me, taking steps at your request.

4. sharing and disclosure

i keep contact information only as long as needed to reply and for reasonable record-keeping. technical and analytics data is retained for a limited period, then deleted or anonymized.

depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your data; to object to or restrict processing; to request a copy (portability); and to withdraw consent at any time. california residents may opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — note that i do neither. to exercise any right, email andrei@gavrilov.design.

i take reasonable measures to protect what you provide. however, no method of transmission over the internet is fully secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

10. children's privacy

this site is not directed to children under 16, and i do not knowingly collect their data.

i may update this policy from time to time. changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.

12. governing law

this policy is governed by the applicable laws of your place of residence, including the gdpr (eu/uk), the ccpa/cpra (california, usa), and russian federal law no. 152-fz "on personal data" (russia), where relevant. for users in russia, personal data is processed with your consent and you may request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent at any time.
