scope & challenges
Alongside my main roles, independent practice is where I take responsibility for the entire design chain. I develop self-initiated concepts and client products from an initial idea through positioning, product logic, identity, interface, content and delivery.
The portfolio ranges from Wivo, an AI-first fashion design vision created from scratch, and Insuro, a multilingual car-insurance experience for Cyprus, to ecommerce systems for Nature’s Sunshine and Europa. It also includes identities, websites, match kits and merchandise for athletes and sports clubs.
Some projects are developed independently; others are created with small specialist teams. The challenge is to keep the product promise, user journey and visual character connected when there is no inherited strategy or established system—and to decide what should be built, tested or deliberately left out.
approach & impact
I begin with the decision the product must make easier: choosing an outfit, understanding an insurance price or purchasing through retail and partner models in one store. I research the market, business model and constraints, define the core proposition, then develop the brand and interface as one system.
I test this system across real flows and edge cases: naming, identity, onboarding, catalogue, product pages, checkout, account, content, motion and responsive behaviour. AI and code help me explore directions and turn decisions into interactive prototypes without waiting for a full production team.
Wivo is the clearest example of this approach: I developed the product concept, UX architecture, brand, mascot, design system and prototypes independently. Market research also led to a deliberate decision to develop it as an AI-first fashion vision rather than present an unvalidated concept as a launched product.
The result is a body of complete, explainable systems rather than isolated screens: working ecommerce experiences, implementation-ready client products and deliberately experimental concepts. This practice shows that I can take an ambiguous opportunity from zero to something people can understand, use and evaluate while remaining hands-on throughout.
